What We Made for the Samsung Flip Side Takeover Pop-Ups

Custom Neon was proud to help bring the Flip Side to life with bold, playful LED neon signage that added fun, personality and "Insta-worthiness" to every space. From glowing clouds and lightning bolts that powered up the arcade zones, to hearts, bunny rabbits, and emoji icons that brought the nail and hair bars to life, each piece was designed to energise the space and celebrate the Samsung brand. Our favourite? The cheeky "Time to Level Up" sign lighting up the gaming booths.

Standout Activations

• K-Beauty-inspired hair and nail bars (with nail art stations showcasing the Galaxy Z Flip5’s selfie capabilities).
• Live graffiti walls.
• K-pop dance parties and custom vinyl pressings.
• Exclusive swag, live DJs, shop hangs, and the chance to win a Samsung phone or tablet.

With only six weeks from concept to execution, the Innovative team pulled off something quite spectacular, balancing the essence of each neighbourhood with tech-forward storytelling and campaign messaging with ease.

Twenty-two creators, artists, and pro skateboarders joined the fanfare, integrating Samsung’s foldables into their content across social media, while guests got hands-on with the Flip5 and Fold5.

Award Winners

This ambitious campaign not only captured attention and drew all eyes to Samsung's must-haves, but it also walked away with the Gold Design Award in 2024 and went on to take home the Gold Global Award in 2025.
