TENNIS AUSTRALIA & THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN 2023
Having been impressed with the custom LED neon signage we supplied for the 2022 Australian Open, Tennis Australia once again commissioned us to create signs for the 2023 tournament. Some of the signs we made were the same or similar to those in 2022. We were most excited, however, to work on new designs for this year's Australian Open, featuring artwork designed by a First Nations artist, celebrating local Indigenous culture.

What we made for the 2023 Australian Open:
For the 2023 tournament, AO collaborated with First Nations artist Bitja of Bayila Creative to design artwork honouring Narrm (Melbourne), the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
Vivid murals were painted at iconic public locations, including the Grand Slam Oval and on the steps to the Margaret Court Arena. Another adorned a wall in the players' only area, illuminated by LED neon recreations of key symbols.
The combination of a boldly painted wall and LED neon artwork made for a head-turning installation.
Finally, we brightened up the Australian Open office foyer with an illuminated version of their logo and set the Melbourne skyline aglow at the entrance. More of the art and quote signs we made for the 2022 tournament were also on display throughout the players' area.
